After waiting patiently for the eclipse, drinking too much coffee, and generally being lazy, I set to work on the chairs I started yesterday.
I spent four happy hours, outside, cutting tenons, boring mortises, scratching my head, staring into space, and generally enjoying myself.

There is still a huge amount to do before I get to sit in them. But, for today, I’m happy with progress so far – tomorrow I start the seats.
